History

Hiranya Seeds

Devarapalli Venkateshwara Reddy, was the pioneer in seed production in the Telugu states. He introduced seeds from Jalna, Maharashtra, and initiated their production and marketing under the name Venkateshwar Seeds, being the first to produce cotton seeds in the region.

B. Venkata Subba Reddy, was the first to cultivate vegetables such as bhendi, ridge gourd, and bottle gourd. He also led the way in seed production for vegetables, cotton, maize, and jowar.
